2nd & 3rd Week Teaching Practice (2nd Phase)

 2nd & 3rd Week Teaching Practice from December 30th to January 10th, 2025. 

The 2nd and 3rd weeks of the second phase of my teaching practice, from December 30 to January 10, were focused on teaching both Class 8B and Class 9B. I covered key concepts in the chapters Diversity for Sustenance in Class 8, while in Class 9, I started Reproductive Health. Teaching aids such as charts, flashcards, activity cards, and PowerPoint presentations were used to make the sessions engaging and interactive.

8th Standard:

Chapters: Diversity for Sustenance, I explained the importance of biodiversity and its role in ecological balance. 

Chapter: Reproductive Health, I introduced the topic of reproductive health, focusing on its significance, family planning methods, and common misconceptions. Students actively participated in discussions, clearing their doubts about adolescence and health-related concerns.

Discipline and Lunch Duties: I continued assisting in maintaining discipline within the school premises and monitoring students during lunch breaks.

With more classes and encounter with the students i was getting used to the school and its working.

Community living camp - UYARE 2k24 (day 1)

Community Living Camp started on the 3rd September, 2024, in our college.  The programme began by 10:00 am with a prayer in the auditorium of our college.  The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Remya P R, Camp leader. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Lidson Raj J, Principal, SJTC. Inauguration was done by Prof (Dr.) Giby Geevarughese. It was followed by Felicitation by Rev. Fr. Thadayoose Philip, Vice principal, Dr. Elizabeth Samuel, Associate Professor and Ms. Praveena Venugopal, student coordinator. At the end of the inaugural ceremony, I presented the Vote of Thanks.   Dr. Giby enlightened us about “Enhancing the Life Skills”.
