Community living camp - UYARE 2k24 (day 1)

Community Living Camp started on the 3rd September, 2024, in our college. 

The programme began by 10:00 am with a prayer in the auditorium of our college. 
The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Remya P R, Camp leader. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Lidson Raj J, Principal, SJTC. Inauguration was done by Prof (Dr.) Giby Geevarughese. It was followed by Felicitation by Rev. Fr. Thadayoose Philip, Vice principal, Dr. Elizabeth Samuel, Associate Professor and Ms. Praveena Venugopal, student coordinator. At the end of the inaugural ceremony, I presented the Vote of Thanks. 

Dr. Giby enlightened us about “Enhancing the Life Skills”. She spoke about life skills and mental health, and to know more about ourselves, skills are essential. 

By 1:00 pm lunch was served. Later on, an activity was conducted by Sri. Prijith Kumar V.S., where paper was used for petal artwork. All the students’ participarted and enjoyed doing the activity. 

Tea and snacks were distributed, followed by different games like Irachi panth etc. Everyone enjoyed it a lot. By 7:00 pm we all got freshen up and arrived for the cultural programmes where students participated in singing songs and dances.

Dinner was served by 8:00pm. Review meeting on how the day was spent and reflection was presented. By 10:30 pm, all the students and teachers went to their respective classes as the day 1 of camp came to an end.
