7th & 8th Week Teaching Practice: November 4 – November 15

Title: Biweekly Report: November 4 – November 15

Introduction
During the 7th and 8th weeks of my teaching practice, from November 4th to 15th, I continued teaching in 8th B and 9th B classes. These weeks were productive, as I completed the chapters assigned and conducted an achievement test in Class 8. Alongside academic activities, I also participated in organizing a subject association activity on National Cancer Awareness Day and our team conducted a conscientization program for students.

Class Overview

8th Standard: Chapter – "Why Classification"
I completed the chapter by using various teaching aids such as charts, flashcards, activity cards, and PowerPoint presentations.

9th Standard: Chapter – "Respiration and Excretion"
The chapter was concluded successfully, with students showing active participation during discussions and experiments. Visual aids, including charts and diagrams, supported the learning process.

Achievement Test: I conducted an achievement test for Class 8 to assess their understanding of the chapter "Let's Regain Our Field." The test highlighted areas of improvement, which I plan to address in the upcoming sessions.

Other Activities

Discipline and Lunch Duties: As part of my responsibilities, I ensured smooth functioning during lunch breaks and maintained discipline in the school premises.

Subject Association Activity (November 7): On National Cancer Awareness Day, I, along with other teacher trainees, conducted an awareness session for students. The activity included an informative presentation on cancer prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle choices, which was well-received by the students.

Conscientisation programme on the topic: Educare: The importance of Education was conducted for students.

Challenges and Reflections
Managing time effectively to complete chapters and conduct the achievement test was a challenge, but careful planning ensured that all tasks were accomplished on time. The use of interactive aids continued to be highly effective in engaging students and enhancing their understanding.
