National Cancer Awareness Day – A Step Towards Health Education

On November 7th, as part of National Cancer Awareness Day, we conducted an engaging subject association activity to raise awareness about cancer among students. The session aimed to educate students on the importance of early detection, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices to reduce the risk of cancer.

The program began with the screening of an informative and thought-provoking video that highlighted key aspects of cancer, including its causes, symptoms, and preventive measures. The video featured real-life stories and expert insights, which resonated deeply with the students. Following the video, we provided a detailed explanation of its content, emphasizing the role of awareness and timely action in combating cancer.

The session also included a discussion on common myths and misconceptions about cancer. Students were encouraged to ask questions, and their curiosity paved the way for an insightful and interactive learning experience.

The session concluded with the students expressing their gratitude and promising to share the information with their families and peers, thus amplifying the message of awareness.
