1st Week Second Phase Teaching practice: November 25 – November 29
1st Week of Second Phase Teaching Practice: November 25 – November 29
Introduction
The first week of the second phase of my teaching practice, from November 25 to 29, was focused on teaching Class 9B and 8B in preparation for the upcoming Christmas exams. During this week, I continued with the chapter “Behind Movements” in Class 9 and started new chapter in class 8th: Diversity for Sustenance, utilizing various teaching aids to enhance the learning process. The second phase will resume in January after the exams.
9th Standard: Chapter – "Behind Movements" To make the lessons more engaging, I used teaching aids such as charts, flashcards, activity cards, and PowerPoint presentations. The students actively participated in class discussions and showed interest in the subject.
8th Standard: I started new chapter, Diversity for Sustenance in class 8th.
Discipline and Lunch Duties:
As part of my responsibilities, I maintained discipline during school hours and ensured a smooth and safe lunch break for students.
Challenges and Reflections
With only one week allocated for the second phase of teaching practice before the exams, time management was crucial. Concentrating solely on Class 9 allowed me to dedicate more attention to delivering quality lessons. Using a variety of teaching aids helped maintain student engagement, and their enthusiastic participation further motivated me to explore interactive strategies in my teaching.
